Paul Richards, Chief Executive

Paul is a leader with 20 years’ experience of running Housing and support organisations. Having joined Arc in late 2024, Paul is passionate about delivering the best homes and services we can for those experiencing homelessness, as well as working on how we can do even more to meet what is an ever increasing need.

Joe Phillips, Director of Finance

Joe joined Arc in May 2024 as our Director of Finance and brings 16 years of commercial and public sector experience to Arc. A Chartered Global Management Accountant, Joe has led bids as far overseas as China and has extensive experience in transformational change, capital infrastructure and growth planning.

Rosie Hather,  Head of Development

Rosie has been working for Arc since 2014. Her role is to manage the income generation, fundraising, awareness raising and marketing of the charitable organisation to ensure we can achieve our goals and provide a high quality service for our clients. Rosie also manages internal central services such as administration, communication and HR.

Lindy Fountain, Head of Operations

Lindy delivers all operational service and property-related activities for Arc, ensuring safe, high-quality accommodation and trauma-informed support for people experiencing homelessness.

Marcus Bond, Head of Quality, Performance and Standards

Marcus has worked at Arc since 2016 and is part of the Leadership Team.  His role is to support a data-driven culture at Arc and provide insight to enable informed decisions. He is passionate about using data to be able to deliver business and service improvements to colleagues and residents that fit our strategic aims.

Sherri Grant, Housing Service Manager

Sherri, our Housing Service Manager, supports our fantastic team of Housing Support Workers and ensures all of our clients needs are met on a daily basis, personalising their approach to meet individual needs. 

Jordan Canter, Social Enterprise Manager

Jordan has set up and now runs our Social Enterprise, Crescent Cleaning Services (CCS).  CCS provides support, training and employment to former Arc clients and anyone else who has experienced homelessness and has grown substantially in its first few years.

Mike Thomas, Maintenance Manager

Mike is responsible for the compliance and upkeep of our properties, organising repairs and refurbishments with his hard working Maintenance Team. Along with other managers, Mike has responsibility for health and safety, looking after the security and wellbeing of clients and the organisation.

Emma Harrington, Trauma Informed Lead

Emma leads in embedding trauma informed approaches into Arc, offering support and coaching for support workers when working with individuals with multiple and complex needs.

Lauren Haddon, Lindley House Manager

Lauren manages to day-to-day life at our 24/7 supported 40 bed hostel and oversees the hard-working teams behind the scenes at Lindley House

Ben Darlow, Senior Support Worker

Ben manages our hard-working team of Housing Support Workers who attend to the clients in our 15 satellite properties across Taunton and Bridgwater.

Sophia Di Centa, Executive Assistant

Sophia supports the CEO and the board members with keeping the organisation running smoothly by working to provide the best outcome for Arc. She proactively updates staff on what's happening by organising staff Quarterly Briefings.

Samantha Parr, Fundraising & Communications Officer

Part of the Fundraising and Communications Department. Sam's role is to help raise funds and awareness for the charity, to ensure we can provide the services we do for the homeless.

Judith Merritt and Matilda Shaw, Business Support Assistants

Judith and Matilda provide administrative support for all areas of the organisation and help us to work efficiently and effectively, providing a high level of customer support and care 

Gill Harrison, Volunteer Coordinator

Gill works with Arc's multitude of volunteers in order to provide a variety of services for our clients, such as counselling, buddies and gardening at our own allotment.

Helen Madhu, Finance Assistant

Working alongside the Director of Finance is Alina, who executes and oversees all tasks within the Finance Department; and Helen, who performs daily tasks required to manage the flow in Finance.

Housing Support Workers, Satellite and Lindley House

Our fantastic team of Housing Support Workers support our clients on a daily basis, personalising their approach to meet individual needs. There are 2 teams; 1 team support the clients based at Lindley House, our 40 bed hostel, whilst a second team support those clients within our 15 satellite properties. 

Hostel Support Staff, Mark Penfold, Ayaz Hossain, Michael Stennett and John Agoha

Our Hostel Support Staff manage the day-to-day reactive operations of the Lindley facility, ensuring a smooth functioning service and onsite support.

Hostel Security and Concierge, Mark Wooldridge and Daniel Mere

The Hostel Security and Concierge team provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors within Lindley House. They ensure that our hostel remains a welcoming and safe space for everyone who walks through our doors.

John Corigan, Kitchen Manager

John works hard in our hostel kitchen to provide 3 meals daily to the 40 clients living here. We also have a fantastic team of volunteers supporting John with the daily tasks of food prep, serving and cleaning. 

Robert Noonan, Kitchen Assistant 

Robert supports John in providing 3 meals daily to the 40 clients living in our hostel. Supporting John with the daily tasks of plannning, prepping, cooking, serving and cleaning.
