Viet's personal journey with Arc!

Over the last 6 months we have been lucky enough to have a student from the Media and Content Creation course at Taunton College, to assist us in creating videos for our Websites and Social Media Platforms. 

"Since joining Arc, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of the amazing staff working at the hostel. It has been inspiring to hear their personal stories, learn about how they started working at Arc, and understand what motivates them to continue making a positive difference in people’s lives every day. My role is to capture and share these stories through creative content so that more people can see the dedication, compassion, and hard work that goes on behind the scenes.

I also hope to highlight the positive impact Arc has on the lives of the people they support. Homelessness is often misunderstood, and by sharing real experiences from both staff and residents, we can help raise awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage more people to support the organisation’s mission.

Throughout this placement, I’m looking forward to developing my content creation skills while contributing to a meaningful cause. I believe that storytelling is a powerful way to connect with people, inspire change, and build a stronger sense of community. I’m excited to be part of this journey and hope that the content I create will help more people recognise the incredible work Arc does and the difference they make every single day."

Viet finishes his placement with us on 10th July, and we'd like to say a huge thank you for all of his hard work during his time at Arc. We've really enjoyed having Viet as part of the team and wish him every success and the very best of luck for the future.
