Christmas at Arc!

We make sure that no one misses out at Christmas!

Being homeless at any time is difficult, but when it seems that everyone else is out enjoying themselves, it can become even harder. Not everyone has family and friends to celebrate with during the festive season, but, with your help, we can make sure to spread Christmas cheer to those who may have lost their sparkle.

Firstly, we offer all properties a Christmas tree and decorations to put up should clients want to, something that many clients enjoy taking part in!

Our main festive fundraiser is our annual Shoebox and Hamper Appeal. This is where we ask you, our incredible supporters, to put together a shoebox full of treats or a hamper of tasty goodies that we can give to our clients. Our aim is that each client receives at least one shoebox for themselves, and that each property receives a hamper that the residents can enjoy together. Can you please help? As well as your wonderful shoeboxes and hampers, each client will be offered a full Christmas meal, either delivered by our Pathway Workers through 'meals-on-wheels', or the ingredients will be given so that clients can enjoy cooking their dinner together.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for clients to get together and play games or enjoy a buffet over the Christmas period, ensuring that lots of festive cheer is spread throughout Arc during December.

Of course, none of this would be possible without your ongoing support - thank you so much! We could not look after over 170 individuals each day if it wasn't for your generosity.
