We have sewing machines and lots of lovely fabric! Can you work alongside individual or small groups of clients to pass on your sewing skills?

Job description:

Objective: to help clients develop the skills and confidence to tackle sewing projects
Tasks:
Working 1 to 1 or in small groups

• Work alongside clients to identify the gaps in their skills or knowledge
• Help to build their confidence by breaking tasks down
• Pass on your skills in hand and/or machine sewing
   

Report to: Learning and Development Officer and Volunteer Coordinator
Location:  Lindley House, Taunton
Hours: Flexible
Essential skills and attributes:

• Patient
• Approachable
• Non-judgemental
• Good at explaining things to people
• Passionate about helping people develop skills
