Volunteering Opportunities

Here at Arc, volunteers are invaluable to our work, providing all the extra important services that help our clients in many different ways.

We don't want our volunteers to be out of pocket, so we always offer to reimburse you for your travel. However, money is tight for us, as it is for everyone, so we will prioritise offering roles to people who live in our local area.

From collecting food donations, to running a skills workshop, our range of volunteering opportunities means there is something suitable for everyone and we’d love to have you on board!

Whatever you choose to do, we will do our best to ensure that your time spent with us is enjoyable and rewarding.

You can expect to be fully supported in your role, with a named professional to keep in touch with you on a regular basis.

All volunteers must be 18 years old or above and may need to have a full DBS check before working with clients.

Interested? Please take a look at our current volunteering opportunities below and complete the application form, or contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Joan Evans for more information: jevans@arcinspire.co.uk

Once we've received your form we'll invite you for an informal chat.

Arc is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and expects all volunteers to share this commitment.

If you are appointed to a voluntary role you will be expected to attend training and induction before you start volunteering.

Arc are committed to providing an inclusive environment for staff, volunteers and clients. You can read our EDI statement below and read our strategy by clicking here.
"At Arc we are not all the same. We come from all walks of life and a wide variety of backgrounds. We draw on these differences in who we are, what we’ve experienced and how we think to create services that work for everyone. We celebrate the diverse and inclusive community that is Arc, empowering clients, staff and volunteers to connect, belong and grow."

Donations (Gifts in Kind) Coordinator

Arc regularly receives gifts in kind donations of items such as clothing, bedding, kitchen equipment, toiletries and more. We’re looking for someone with the energy and enthusiasm to help us organise the incoming, storage and outgoing of these donations so that Arc can effectively use them to benefit the local homeless community.
